WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • 1 1/2-2 lbs Beef Tips or Chopped Sirloin

  • 2 Cups of Fresh Broccoli

  • 1 Cup of Beef Broth

  • 3 Tbsp Soy Sauce

  • 1 Tbsp Sesame Oil

  • 1/4 C Brown Sugar

  • 2 Tbsp Green Onions or Chives, Reserve half to top dish later 

  • 1 Tsp of Red Pepper Flakes (It'll sneak up on you)

  • 1 Tsp of Chili Powder or Cayenne Pepper (For a spicy kick)

  • 2 Tbsp Cornstarch Set Aside

  • 1Tbsp Water 

  • Sesame Seeds for Topping (Optional)

  • White or Brown Rice (Prepared according to package instructions, season to taste)

CROCK POT BOLD

BEEF 'N' BROCCOLI

WASH THOSE HANDS! Out and about or not. We're still in a pandemic. 

 

1. Season your beef well and add in the crock pot.

​

2. Add your beef broth, soy sauce, sesame oil and brown sugar

​

3. Toss in your red pepper flakes, 1/2 of your green onions or chives, stir all ingredients

​

4. Set the crock pot on low for 3 hours or until beef is tender 

​

5. Take 2 Tbsp of Gravy from crock pot, 1 Tbsp of Water, whisk it with cornstarch

​

6. Add Broccoli to crock pot

​

7. Then your cornstarch mixture, stir

​

8. Let cook on low for an additional 20 minutes, taking care not to burn

​

9. Cook Your rice according to package instructions

​

10. Serve Beef and Broccoli on top of your rice, garnish with remaining chives/green onions and sesame seeds.

 

11. ENJOY
