MAIN

  • 1/2 Head of Cabbage, Chopped 

  • 1 Onion, Chopped

  • 1 Green Bell Pepper

  • 1 C Sweet Peppers

  • 1 C Chopped Celery (About a stock and a half)

  • 1 C Chopped Carrots

  • 14.5 Oz Canned Tomatoes

 

LIQUIDS

  • 2 TBSP VIrgin Olive Oil

  • 3 Cups Low Sodium Chicken or Veggie Broth

  • 1 C Water

 

SEASONINGS 

  • 2 Tsp Italian

  • 1 Tsp Dried Thyme

  • 1/2 Tsp Dried Rosemary

  • 1/2 Tsp Kosher Salt

  • 1/4 Tsp Black Pepper

  • Couple of dashes or hot sauce (optional)

CABBAGE SOUP

 WASH YOUR HANDS!

1. Add olive oil to soup pot 

2. Toss in onions, sweet peppers, celery, carrot - stir and let soften

3. Add tomatoes, seasonings 

4. Pour in broth/water (this is where you'd toss in that hot sauce)

5. Add in cabbage, stir

6. Cover, simmer on low for 30 minutes 

According to WebMD, this is what you're supposed to do it for the week you eat it. But once again, please consult your doctor before doing this or any diet!

  1. Day 1: Fruit, except bananas.

  2. Day 2: Vegetables like leafy greens (not starchy), but no fruit.

  3. Day 3: Fruits and vegetables.

  4. Day 4: Bananas and skim milk.

  5. Day 5: Beef (or baked chicken without the skin) and tomatoes.

  6. Day 6: Beef and vegetables.

  7. Day 7: Brown rice, unsweetened fruit juices, and vegetables.
